Holyoke Health Center, Inc. has taken steps to integrate Family Planning services within our primary medical care. Our goal is to support patients who are wanting to start a family or who would like to delay a pregnancy until they are ready to become a parent. Patients can visit their primary care physician to discuss what options are available to them, whether it's how to start preparing to have a baby or the birth control options that are available in our clinics. We have a certified nurse midwife on staff that specializes in family planning care and that is available to see patients in need of family planning services.

Our medical and pharmacy teams work closely to provide proper counseling to our patients when it comes to birth control methods. Available birth control methods include: pills, injection, patch, vaginal ring, and also emergency contraception through our pharmacy. Depending on patient's needs they can either see their primary care physician or speak to one of our pharmacists regarding their birth control concerns.

Patients can also receive all forms of preventative care to reduce any form of infection and decrease chance of cancer.

All services under family planning are confidential and have no age restrictions.
